I am very active with short sales since this is the way the market is going right now.  Before I will take the short sale request I like to work closely with the lender to be sure there are no other opinions for the owners.  Some lenders offer Owner Assistance Programs.  If you are interested in doing short sales ask the lender about their Owner Assistance Programs.
